Windmill’s Friday Feeling

As another week draws to a close, it’s time to kick of the weekend in cultural style with another Friday Feeling!

‘Ebooks are awesome!’ ‘No they aren’t!’ ‘Yes they are!’ ‘Shut up!’ ‘No you shut up!’ etc. etc. I’ve noted with interest the number of times I’ve seen people with ereaders on the Tube - once a rarity, now it’s almost common. Also a lot of book bloggers seem to be picking them up. I know this is about a scientific as sticking a finger in the air to tell the weather, but it seems that ebooks are starting to become the reality of more and more book buyers here in the UK. This ebook article drinking game brings some fun to the noisy debate.

In days of yore, I worked in my local library, and a lady came in and said, “I’m looking for a book, I don’t remember the title or author, but I’m pretty certain it was blue. Do you have it?” But that’s nothing compared to these.

Finally, amazing images of microscopy: who knew asprin could be so beautiful?
